The Maricopa Police Department wishes to remind the public not to give your personal financial information over the phone to anyone who initiates a phone call to you.

Can it really be true? Is it really August already?

 

 

Last week a new traffic signal went into operation at Porter and Smith Enke Roads. This traffic signal should greatly improve operations at the three-way stop intersection.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office is proud to announce the kick off of the Pinal County "Stuff the Bus" School Supply Drive.   

It amazes me that Electrical District No. 3 has a history that dates back 84 years to 1926 when it was first formed to provide electrical service to the surrounding area.

 

 

I have reviewed our city code and the structure of our town is simple. The City Council sets policy, and the City Manager works at the will and pleasure of the City Council. However, in our case, it seems to be the other way around.

 

 

This is the start of the state's long-range transportation plan - also called What Moves You Arizona - to bring together all residents, visitors, drivers and anyone else who will need to get around, to create a vision for the future of transportation.

I went on the MUSD site today to check out the bus schedule for the high school. Lo and behold, things have changed! We live in Senita, Phase I. Apparently we are just too close to need bussing to the high school.      

Supervisor David Snider will hold his monthly office hours in Maricopa on Tuesday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Maricopa interim City Hall.  

The Primary Election is Aug. 24. In the primary, voters will decide the nominees who will appear on the ballots in November's election.

Monday marked the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Bingo is a lovable, friendly, lonely boy who was found right after the 4th of July.

Pinal County Sheriff's Office regional High Intensity Drug Enforcement Unit received an "Excellence in Cooperative Law Enforcement Award" last week from the Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee. MPD is part of that task force.
