Sheriff Paul Babeu announced today the promotion of three deputies to the rank of sergeant.

With 24 deputies vying for the positions, the three candidates that rose to the top were James Rimmer, Marc Miller and Sergio Ochoa.

The three deputies were joined by colleagues and family members earlier this week at a promotion ceremony where they were officially given their stripes and oath of office by Sheriff Babeu.
