Mommy Blogger:The bathing suit and where did my teenage body go?

I enjoy shopping for clothes but I dread the bathing suits. There are so many cute combinations and designs but that dressing-room test sucks. Does my rear really look like that? Have they always made bathing suits this tight?

There’s nothing like trying on bathing suits to remind you you’re not in a teenage body anymore.

We all know the answer, work out and get some physical exercise.

I don’t know about you but between being stretched for time around my job and family I’m so tired by the end of the day that I have zero desire to jog around my neighborhood or hit the gym.

There’s so many workouts and “how to” advice out there, keeping track of all that and implementing it into my personal life seems like a workout all on its own. Shouldn’t physical exercise be enjoyable instead of just another item needing to be done on the endless list of items in my life?

Every year I buy a bathing suit and it is when I try it on that I feel less beautiful and appealing. Unfortunately the selection seems to be showing more and more skin and it’s almost impossible to “hide” those areas we would rather not look at.

Personally, I think this it’s about time I incorporate some sort of workout into my life. Wish me luck. And if you see me jogging around your neighborhood pretend to not notice that “problem area” of mine.
