A fundraising rummage sale 8 a.m. to noon Saturday will raise money for the Maricopa Relay for Life event April 26.
Nonprofit groups can rent a table for $10 and independent vendors for $25. These groups and vendors can keep their profits.
The sale is free to all registered teams; proceeds will go toward the teams and the Relay for Life/The American Cancer Society. This year’s fundraising goal is $80,000; more than $50,000 was raised last year.
The rummage sale will take place in the parking lot of Community of Hope Church/Leading Edge Academy at 18700 N. Porter Road.
Reserve space by contacting Tobi L. Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org or by texting 480-628-2512.
The Rely for Life is set to take place at the city's new Copper Sky Recreation Complex at John Wayne Parkway and Bowlin Road. The complex is set to open in March.
