Maricopa Police Department released the following information today:
On May 25, after dedicating hundreds of hours, a Maricopa Police Department investigation has led to the discovery of the body of missing 25-year-old Angela Russo in a desert area in Maricopa County. The Maricopa Police Department has since turned over the investigation to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office as there is significant evidence of foul play.
“We are deeply saddened for the family and friends of Angela Russo. Our thoughts and prayers are with them,” said City of Maricopa Police Chief Steve Stahl. “This is an active investigation and we ask for the public’s patience as we sort through the details and work to bring those responsible to justice.”
