It was supposed to be the North Scottsdale of Pinal County.

The area, in upper elevations surrounded by breathtaking views and rugged terrain, was to be site of new homes that would house surgeons and doctors so they could work at a new hospital that was in the works.Home comes with everything, right down to the last chair.

However, the hospital never materialized, and the one home initially built as a model to attract buyers is all that is left to testify to the once grandiose dream.

The 4,600 square foot home sits on 2.5 acres of land in Hidden Valley, and it’s for sale.

The outside of the home is decorated with cantera stone pillars imported from Mexico and cultured stone.

The designer of the home, Ray Morrow, who is also the owner and listing agent, described the styling as Tuscany meets Colorado.

In addition to pillars that surround the home, a four-car, drive-through garage makes for an easy escape to the city.

“You don’t have to back up to get out; you just drive straight through,” Morrow said.

Once inside, it is clear that no corners were cut in the design of this home.

Besides being on the floor like most traditional homes, wood molding also borders the ceiling, and stone-decorated columns line the hallways.

Two of the most decorative rooms in this four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom home are the main bathroom and the kitchen.

The main bathroom is larger than many master bathrooms and is almost completely styled with cultured stone and tile.

Walking into this truly master bathroom, potential buyers are greeted by a large island-like tub that sits in the center of the room. A tall, stone wall behind it serves as a privacy wall for the walk-in shower area.

After imagining bathing in the luxurious bathroom, potential buyers may head into the kitchen to dream about settling in for a bite to eat.

The kitchen has counters done in a volcano granite, and it is fully equipped with top-of-the-line Viking appliances. Decorative stained glass adds the final touch.

Twelve-inch tiles grace most of the home, which comes with more than $100,000 worth of furnishings, including two plasma televisions and a pool table.

Other features include three fireplaces, a balcony off the master bedroom, skylights and a large swimming pool.
