CAC to offer ESL courses

Preregistration for Central Arizona College’s English Language Acquisition for Adults (ELAA or ESL) classes will take place in early January and mid-February for two spring semester sessions.

The first session begins Jan. 19 with preregistration starting Jan. 5. The second session will begin on March 22 with preregistration starting March 1.

Students should preregister at any one of CAC’s nine campuses or centers in Pinal County and must show proof of legal presence in the United States. All new ESL students will need to attend an assessment session the week before classes begin.

Classes will be divided into a pair of eight-week periods over the duration of the semester.

Central Arizona College’s ESL classes are currently provided at no cost to Arizona residents and will be held on the following days in Maricopa:

Maricopa Wells Middle School

45725 W. Honeycutt Ave.,
Rooms B123 and B133
6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday (begins Jan. 19 and March 23)
