Cooler weather is likely to prevail over the weekend, according to the National Weather Service, with mostly sunny skies and a nice breeze lasting well into next week.

Thursday night should be mostly clear with temperatures bottoming out in high 40s with the help of a 10-15 mph wind out of the west southwest that may gust up to 25 mph.

Friday is likely to be calm and sunny with a high around 78 during the day and a low around 51 at night.

Saturday should also be sunny with a few clouds here and there for Salsa Festival, westerly winds blowing from 10-20 mph during the day and gusting up to 25 mph at night, a high temperature around 81 during the day and a low of 53 at night.

Sunday will likely see clear skies, a light 10 mph west northwest wind throughout the day, a high of around 79 during the day and a low of 53 at night.
