The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in locating a 5 foot, 10 inch, 270 pound Hispanic male who allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl in an area a couple miles west of Casa Grande.

Deputies received a citizen call early Monday afternoon about the assault, which was allegedly carried out by 25-year-old Juan Carlos Cuadros-Ortiz.

However, before deputies arrived on scène, Ortiz fled in a silver-colored 2003 Suzuki SUV with his 21-year-old girlfriend and their eight-month-old son.

According to Pinal County spokesman Tim Gaffney it is believed that Ortiz’s girlfriend is an unwilling passenger. “We are concerned for her safety and that of her son,” Gaffney said.

He added that deputies are not sure if Ortiz is still hiding out locally or has fled to the Riverside, Calif. area where he is believed to have family.

The license plate of the vehicle Ortiz is driving is Arizona AFK3223.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call 911 or PCSO detective Justin Akin at 1-800-420-8689.
