Maricopa Multi Cultural Consortium (MMCC) will be hosting a free educational program on Alzheimer’s disease on Wednesday, April 4, at 2 p.m. at the Maricopa Center for Entrepreneurship. As many of our seniors have expressed concerns and have many questions about Alzheimer’s, Mindy Wakefield of the Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will be presenting a talk on Alzheimer’s disease as to it’s effects and challenges on the patient and the family, as well as potential prevention and treatments. She will also be discussing services available to Maricopa area residents and handing out valuable information.  Please mark your calendars for this important presentation.
