Join us for the official launch of the VideoPhone service for deaf and hard of hearing community members on Monday, August 20, at 9 a.m. at the Maricopa Public Library. Local resident William Prentice, who is Deaf, will place the first official call to our Nation’s Capital Washington D.C., then the Kansas Commission for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing in Topeka followed by calls made and received by Mayor Christian Price, his wife Cindy who signs, Congressman Tom O’Halleran, and Fred Greenspan who also signs.
