“It’s a traffic issue for me! I’d like to see a law put in place that bans texting while driving at a city level or state level. If law is violated, a hefty fine imposed to driver.”

“More activities for kids and places for kids and their families to participate and play together. Also, more dining and shopping options for adults. I’d be willing to spend more money in Maricopa if shopping and dining, beyond fast food, was more convenient.”

“We definitely need a hospital or medical facility like a 24/7 Urgent Care center.

Also, more primary care doctors and pediatric specialists for our children. It’s a horrible feeling for a parent when your child is injured and in serious pain and there aren’t many local options for immediate care. Moms and Dads really talk about this situation a lot.”

“I would LOVE for Maricopa to get a nice, semi-upscale romantic restaurant; one that prides itself on wonderful food and excellent service. Although there are many choices of places to eat here, we are pretty limited to fast food and sports bars. I’d like to see a place where people can dress up for a special, quiet night out.”

“Personally, I like Maricopa just the way it is! The small-town feel and business atmosphere is why I moved here. I love the way my son is welcomed every morning either by his teachers or the principal when he arrives at school. It’s great.”
