Farrell Road will reopen by Saturday, June 24, however due to the excessive heat the current project could not be completed. As long as temperatures drop over the next week, the work will be completed Friday, June 30 – Monday, July 3 forcing the closure of the road during that time.

If temperatures do not drop over the next week, the remainder of the project will be pushed backed until after July 4. The roadway will be open to traffic during the Great American 4th event. Please use caution as there may be loose rocks. The speed limit is posted at 25 mph.

This road segment begins just east of Palo Rojo Road, in the Palo Brea Subdivision, and terminates just South of Iron Pointe Drive, in the Santa Rosa Springs subdivision. Drivers should consider using SR 347 and Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway or Peters-Nall and White-Parker Roads as alternate routes.
