Honeycutt Coffee will be hosting its grand re-opening on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Honeycutt Coffee owner Cathy Dykstra is hoping for a great turnout for the event. Currently, Maricopa Mayor Christian Price, Maricopa Police Chief Steve Stahl and members of the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce are expected to be in attendance.

“[We’ll have a] ribbon cutting with the mayor, city council, police chief and others,” Dykstra said. “We are excited to kick off Honeycutt Coffee in the way we have wanted it.”

The event will feature $2 drink for customers, raffle prizes from business around Maricopa and Honeycutt Coffee’s mascot “Toddy.” The event is meant to showcase the improvements the new owners have instituted and welcome members of the community into the coffee shop.

The Honeycutt staff hopes the re-opening will connect the coffee shop to members of the community who haven’t had a chance to stop in yet.
