The Jack in the Box restaurant in Maricopa was robbed by a person brandishing a handgun Wednesday afternoon, according to Maricopa Police Department.

The male suspect entered the eatery around 4:30 p.m. with his shirt over his head. Witnesses told police he had a gun.

When he demanded money, the cashier complied. The suspect then left the restaurant and jumped over the wall behind Fry’s Marketplace. MPD set up a perimeter but was unable to locate the suspect.

No one was injured in the incident.
