After a warm week, Maricopa will likely cool off some for Labor Day Weekend, according to the National Weather Service, and possibly even see a little bit of rain. Daily highs should stay in the low 100s as a breezy Saturday precedes a 10-percent chance of rain Sunday that will likely hang on well into next week.

Today looks to be sunny and mostly clear with a high around 107 during the day and a low near 80 at night.

Friday will likely also be sunny and mostly clear with a high around 105 during the day and a low near 78 at night.

Saturday should be mostly sunny with winds gusting 15-20 mph throughout the day as the high reaches up around 102 then drops to near 77 at night.

Sunday is forecast to be partly cloudy with a 10 percent chance of rain after 11 a.m., a high around 101 and a low near 76.

Labor Day could see a continuation of that 10 percent chance of rain with partly cloudy skies, a high of 101 during the day and a low near 77 at night. Â
