Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway Restricted Beginning July 12

Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) reports that lane restrictions will be in effect on Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway between State Route 347 and Porter Road on July 12th and will continue throughout July.

Traffic will be limited to one lane and guided through the construction zone by pilot cars while the contractor removes the existing roadway and constructs the new roadway. ADOT will place message boards at each end of the lane restriction for additional construction related information.

Motorists can expect to encounter delays while construction is completed and are encouraged to obey regulatory signs. Alternate routes are recommended when traveling to and from Maricopa.

Federal funds and revenues from the Pinal County Transportation Excise Tax are making this safety improvement project possible.
