High temps and mostly clear skies are ahead for Maricopa.

A hot, sunny weekend is ahead for Maricopa, according to the National Weather Service, with temperatures increasingly warm.

Today is sunny with a high near 105 and calm breezes. Tonight will also be mostly clear, with a low around 79.

Friday, expect sunny skies during the day and a high near 106. That will be followed by a clear night with a low around 79 again.

Saturday sees sunny skies, too, with the high climbing to 107. The nighttime low will be around 80.

Sunday will be similar, with a high temperature of 105 and an overnight low of 78.

That leads to a week of continued triple-digit temperatures but increasing wind.
