The City of Maricopa is sending its first ever resident survey to over 4,000 households.

City of Maricopa, October 6, 2005 — The City of Maricopa asks residents to be on the lookout for a Resident Information Survey arriving in their mailboxes soon.

The City of Maricopa is working hard to build a community that serves the needs of its residents. With hypergrowth increasing Maricopa’s population at a rate of nearly 50% per year for the next 5 years, the needs increase daily.

The City is conducting a survey to collect information about its residents. This data is highly important for Maricopa’s economic development initiatives. The survey will help shape decisions such as what types of retail, businesses or employers would best fit Maricopa’s population, to which recreational activities are in highest demand.

The survey is comprised of only 9 short questions, and should take less than five minutes to complete. When residents are finished, they can simply detach the survey portion and drop it in the mail with no postage necessary.

The mailing also includes a listing of important phone numbers as well as useful tips on how to get involved in the local community.

Maricopa would like to thank its residents in advance for helping it to serve them better!
