Summertime seems to be arriving early as daily highs are likely to climb into the triple digits and stay there will into next week, according to the National Weather Service. A light breeze will develop Saturday evening and carry on until Monday, however it doesn’t look like the wind will be enough to keep the heat monster at bay.

Friday is likely to be sunny, calm and mostly clear with a high near 100 during the day and a low around 71 at night.

Saturday should also be sunny and mostly clear with a high around 103 during the day and a low near 73 at night as a light breeze moves in early evening gusting up to 20 mph.

Sunday is forecast to again be sunny, mostly clear and a bit breezy with a high around 103 during the day and a low near 73 at night as a 15-mph wind moves in from the southwest after midnight.

Monday is likely to be sunny and clear with a light breeze of 15 mph gusting throughout the day as temps reach a high near 104 then dropping to a low around 73 at night.
