MHS hosts baseball camp for young catchers

Maricopa High School will host the Rams Catchers Camp March 7-9 from 8 to 10 a.m.

The camp for students in grades six through eight who want to improve their catching skills. The camp will focus on stances, receiving, blocking, throwing and the mental aspects of a catcher.

Cost is $30 (checks payable to MHS Rams Homerun).

Equipment needed for camp includes baseball cleats, tennis shoes, baseball pants, belt and hat. Catcher’s equipment would be preferred is not mandatory.
