Here it is 9-11 in September
It’s been 15 years and we remember
What a fateful day
For all those lost we pray
Those terrorists who did us wrong
Have made America alert and strong
We wave the flag for all to see
To be proud and free in this land of liberty
We as a nation were sad … and kind
To those victims’ relatives left behind
To all those who left us on nine-eleven
We send our prays to them in heaven
This is a day we ponder and reflect
Why does man with destruction elect
Why is mankind sometimes filled with hate
Instead of viewing the earth as consecrate
For all the victims we say good0bye
We’re so sorry you had to died
And we remember those so brave
Who for our freedom their lives gave
God bless America we do sing
And let our freedom ring
I’m an American, I like to brag
It does my heart good to fly our flag
As I reflect back on that terrible day
From my heart and soul I want to say
For all of America I do pray
God bless the beautiful USA
