Native New Yorker hosts Red Cross fundraiser on Wednesday

In order to support the relief efforts of the American Red Cross during the devastation and aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, all Native New Yorker restaurants are doing their part. They invite you to come in for a “good meal and a great cause.”

This Wednesday, September 7, Maricopa’s Native New Yorker will be donating 50% of all profits from the day to the Red Cross. No coupons are needed. The kitchen is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Originally also scheduled for this Wednesday, the Pima Butte Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization’s (PTO) fundraiser has been postponed for a couple of weeks. Its purpose is to purchase equipment and supplies for the brand new school’s classrooms.

The fundraiser, featuring 20% off coupons and “celebrity” waiters, will still take place, but at a later date. All coupons for the event will be honored at that time. For questions, contact Gina Segarra by email.
