With a record of 9-0-1, the defending state baseball champion Sequoia Pathway Pumas are again leading the Canyon Athletic Association Division 2. They are scheduled to host Canyon State Academy Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Copper Sky. Close behind the Pumas in the standings is the team that battled them to a 1-1 tie, South Pointe High School, which has lost only one game.

The Pumas are scoring an average of 14 runs per game while allowing just one run. SPA’s regular season is set to end at home April 19.
