PCSO arrest reports in Maricopa area

Among Maricopa area residents arrested by Pinal County sheriff’s deputies was one woman who was already in jail when she was arrested again.

Danielle Kathi Hughes, 35, was arrested at the adult detention center April 6 after being remanded to serve three and a half years in prison. While being booked, she allegedly admitted to having drugs concealed in her body. According to the report, 111 narcotic pills were removed.

Hughes was charged with promoting prison contraband, a Class 2 felony, possession of a narcotic drug, a Class 4 felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class 6 felony.

In other local cases, Harold Wade Shepherd, 53, of Stanfield, was arrested on Papago Drive April 11. He is charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal trespassing.
