PCSO makes arrests for assault, abuse

Two Maricopans face domestic violence charges in unrelated incidents this week.

John David Doty, 35, was taken into custody by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office on West Meadow Green Road south of the city Monday at about 9:30 a.m.

He faces charges of assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct (fighting) and abuse of a child or vulnerable adult. He was booked at Pinal County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

Doty was most recently arrested on a drug charge in December.

Early Wednesday morning, Virginia Granneman, 56, was arrested by PCSO on Tusa Road in the Thunderbird Farms area after a report of a domestic dispute.

She was charged with assault and disruptive behavior.
