Pima Butte’s Fall Festival offers an afternoon of family fun

74

Pima Butte Elementary School promises food, fun and prizes during its Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Maricopans are invited to bring their neighbors, relatives and friends for an afternoon of family fun, including a silent auction, tricycle races, inflatable bouncers and a slide, a dunk tank and game booths, face painting, a cake walk and prizes provided by Community of Hope Church. Souvenir photos will also be available.

Those who dress in costume can enter the costume parade and will receive goodie bags for dressing up.

This year’s cakewalk winners will receive decorated cakes entered in the cake-decorating contest. The pre-decorated cakes should be marked with the decorator’s name and phone number and delivered to the school, 42202 W. Rancho El Dorado Pkway, by 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets are three for $1 and 20 for $5 if purchased in advance. They will be 50 cents each or 20 for $8 at the door on the afternoon of the event. All-access wristbands are also available for $15 each or two for $25. Advance tickets will be sold before and after school all week.

All proceeds from this year’s Fall Festival will go back to the school to benefit students, teachers and programs.

Volunteers are needed for the ticket booth, bouncers and the slide. To volunteer or for more information about the event, contact Krystal Ramos by email or at (520) 568-7244.
