Prepare for hot week in Maricopa

As summer approaches, triple-digit temperatures are becoming more common. According to the National Weather Service, Maricopa will be in the high 90s and low 100s this week.

Today’s forecast is for sunny skies and a high near 87 degrees. Clear skies are predicted to continue overnight with a low of around 60 and continuing calm winds of 5 mph.

Tuesday is forecast to be sunny again with a high near 92. The evening will be mostly clear with a low around 62.

Wednesday will be sunny and warmer with a high of 96. Overnight, expect mostly clear skies and a low of 64.

Thursday will see temperatures climb to 102 under sunny skies. Skies will be clear overnight, with a low around 70.

Friday will be much the same with a high of 103 and an overnight low of 69.

The rest of the weekend so far looks to continue in hot temperatures.
