Police recovered the stolen SUV of Arizona lawmaker Frank Pratt in Phoenix last weekend.

The 2007 GMC Yukon was stolen Christmas Day, after Pratt was assaulted and tied up by a man who had broken into the District 23 legislator’s Casa Grande business, Pratt Pools.

The Phoenix police department located the gold SUV, unoccupied near 19th Ave. and Van Buren, according to Casa Grande Deputy Chief Don Daniel.

The vehicle was combed for DNA, fingerprints and other evidence Daniel said could be valuable in solving the case. Police said they hope to have the results back early next week.

Daniel said the vehicle was in perfect condition and would be returned to the Pratt family today, Jan. 4.

Anyone with information regarding the case is encouraged to call the Casa Grande Police Department at 520-421-8700.

“We would like to close this case as quickly as possible and bring resolution to the Pratt family,” Daniel said.
