As construction of a new overpass on State Route 347 begins, the Arizona Department of Transportation is preparing to shift traffic away from the work zone in Maricopa.
Drivers should allow extra travel time and use alternate routes if necessary while the following restriction is in place:
Honeycutt Road east of State Route 347 to Plainview Street will be closed from 10 p.m. Thursday, April 5, to 5 a.m. Friday, April 6. Drivers can use southbound Maricopa Groves Parkway to westbound Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway to access State Route 347. Be prepared to slow down and watch for construction crews and equipment in the work zone.
