Sequoia finalizes funding for new Pathway Academy site

Sequoia Schools finalized a $13.6 million IDA bond last week to fund new school facilities for Sequoia Pathway Academy in Maricopa.

Work at the nearby school site will begin immediately. According to Sequoia’s superintendent Ron Neil, the contractor, Accelerated Construction Technologies, has been working off site on the various buildings. Those buildings should be in place in about a month.

“We look forward to working with out families, students and staff as we strive to improve the wellbeing of our children,” said Neil.
