Maricopa will be warm this week, but not as hot as last week, and rain could move in.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday’s sunny skies will stay clear overnight for a low around 64. Breezes will be 5-15 mph.

Tuesday, expect mostly sunny skies and a high near 89 and little wind. However, nighttime may bring the rain. There is a 30-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and an expected low of 63.

Wednesday, that 30-percent chance of rain continues until about 11 a.m. Then skies are expected to clear for a high near 89. The overnight low will be around 65.

Thursday has a sunny forecast and an expected high of 95. Overnight, the low will be around 66, with winds increasing to about 10 mph.

Friday is expected to be the warmest day of the week, with a high of 98 forecast. The day will be sunny and breezy, with winds from the south at 15-20 mph and gusting up to 25 mph. Friday night’s low will be around 65.

The rest of the weekend is also expected to remain in the 90s.
