An arrest has been made in a fatal vehicle accident that occurred just before midnight on May 20 on State Route 347 near Maricopa.
Dalesio Hernandez-Bautista, 24, of Phoenix, was arrested and faces charges of endangerment, criminal damage and hit and run, according to a report from the Arizona Department of Public Safety. He was booked and released from the Pinal County Jail.
Hernandez-Bautista was driving northbound on SR 347 in a red 1998 Toyota sedan when he sideswiped a blue 2002 Chevrolet driven by Sofia Nieves Hernandez of Maricopa, who also was traveling north.
