A temperate winter week is on its way for Maricopa, according to the National Weather Service.

Today will be sunny with a high near 61 degrees followed by a clear night with the lowest temperature of the forecast week at 35 degrees.

Monday, expect another sunny day and a high of 67. It may be breezy with winds at 10-15 mph. Overnight, the low will be around 38 degrees.

Tuesday, the high may reach to 69 degrees under sunny skies. The night sky will be mostly clear and the low will be around 40.

Wednesday is forecast to be the warmest day of the week with a high near 71 and more sun. The nighttime low will again be around 40.

Thursday, plan for sun and a high of 68. The night will be mostly clear with a low around 39.

Friday will be much the same, with the forecast calling for sunny skies and a high near 66. The overnight low will be around 39.

Saturday, for Hanukkah and Christmas Eve, expect a cool down to a high of 63 during the day.
