Mostly sunny days of balmy temperatures in Maricopa are set to become wet and windy by the end of the week, according to the forecast by the National Weather Service.

Today will continue mostly sunny with a high near 72. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low near 46.

Monday, expect much the same. A mostly sunny day with a high around 73 leads to a partly cloudy night with a low around 46.

Tuesday will continue the warm-up with a high of 74 under mostly sunny skies and a night expected to be mostly clear with a low near 45.

Wednesday will be warmer still with a high near 76 and mostly sunny skies. The night will be partly cloudy and the low around 47.

Thursday is expected to have the warmest day of the week, predicted to be 76 degrees under partly sunny skies. But things change overnight, with a 10-percent chance of showers. The low is forecast to be around 49.

Friday, the chance of rain persists, increasing to 20 percent. The high will be near 68 and winds will be 10-15 mph, gusting as high as 25 mph. The overnight low will be 43.

Saturday sees a 10-percent chance of showers, the day overall is expected to be mostly sunny, though the high is expected to be only 61. Winds will be 10-15 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.
