Time to sign up for Copa Color Run

Registration is open for the second annual Copa Color Fun Run & Walk scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20, at Copper Sky Regional Park, 44345 W. Martin Luther King Blvd.

New this year, the event will feature a Food Truck Festival, including Burgers Amore and Queso Good, a Beer Garden and five bounce houses. Food trucks open at noon and the race starts at 2 p.m. at Copper Sky Regional Park.

This unique race is a 5K run/1.5 mile walk where athletes from all ages and skill levels participate, making their way through several color stations where they will be covered from head to toe in a rainbow of colored powder.

Registration is $25 and closes Feb. 17. On-site registration is $35 and available between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. the day of event. Registration includes an event T-shirt and an individual packet of color powder to be thrown at the start of the race. Same-day registrations are not guaranteed an event shirt that day.
