Wells Fargo bank began its two-day grand opening celebration today at its new location in the Fry’s Marketplace center on the southeast corner of John Wayne Parkway and Smith-Enke Road. The bank hosted an ice cream social, activities for the kids, appearances by Jack the Dog and enough treats to satisfy any sweet tooth.
The festivities continue on Saturday with a free barbeque cookout, bouncy cage and Mad Science for the kids beginning at 11 a.m. Wells Fargo is also giving away a barbeque, outdoor patio furniture and other great prizes. No purchase is necessary to register for the drawing. Saturday’s celebration will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The new branch is the second for the company in Maricopa. Wells Fargo operates a banking center inside Bashas’ that is open seven days a week. The new “traditional” bank located across the street is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
