Winter showers are likely on the horizon for Maricopa, according to the National Weather Service. The city will likely see cloudy skies during the early part of the week, bringing with them a 30-80 percent chance of rain and heavy winds which, could kick the temperature down into the 30s by midweek.

Today looks to be cloudy and calm with a high around 74, a low near 52 and a 10-percent chance of rain at night.

Tuesday will likely be cloudy and windy with a 30-80-percent chance of rain throughout the day and gusts of wind blowing up to 25 mph while the high is likely to hit around 74 and the low near 43.

Wednesday should be partly cloudy and calm with a 10-percent chance of rain in the morning and afternoon while the high temperature reaches up around 61 and the low dips to near 39.

Thursday looks to be sunny, clear and calm with a high around 66 and a low near 39.

Friday will likely also be sunny, clear and calm with a high around 71 and a low near 41.
