Something about the beginning of each year makes us want to create new plans. And by this time, we are often discouraged, having fallen off the resolution wagon again this year. Here are some hints for following through with changes and intentions.

Peg Chapados promises Maricopa voters the following 10 qualities if she is elected to the Maricopa City Council:

Board of Supervisors' Chairman David Snider will hold his monthly office hours in Maricopa on Tuesday, March 2. Snider will be at the Maricopa interim city hall, 45145 West Madison Avenue, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.  

Exploitation of children will be the focus for the 2nd Annual Child Abuse Conference on March 19 in Casa Grande.

Over the past couple days the Maricopa Police Department has become aware of some possible suspicious behavior occurring around the city.

United Way of Pinal County is seeking volunteers to help review applications for funding in the fiscal year that starts July 1, 2010, according to United Way Executive Director Charity Russell.
