2-year-old pulled from pool, remains in grave condition

A 2-year-old girl is in critical condition after an incident in a pool on Wednesday. 

At about 8:30 p.m., Maricopa Police and Maricopa Fire and Medical crews responded to a drowning call in the 43900 block of West Adobe Circle, in Cobblestone Farms, according to Monica Williams, a spokesperson for the city’s emergency services. 

Family members had removed the child from the water, and she was rushed by ambulance to a Maricopa hospital, where the child remains in grave condition. 

Maricopa police are investigating.
