Golf tournament to benefit the American Diabetes Association

A golf tournament will be held on Saturday, May 14 to honor Lonny Martinez and raise money for the American Diabetes Association.

The event begins with registration at 6:30 a.m., and a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m., at Southern Dunes Golf Club, 48456 West AZ-238, Maricopa AZ 85139

The format of the tournament will be a four-person scramble, limited to 144 players.

The cost is $150 per person, including golf, cart, practice balls, tee bag tag, divot tool, one Mulligan per person, CTP and longest drive prizes and lunch following golf.

Last year, the tournament raised $9,589 for The American Diabetes Association.
