A man and two women were arrested Thursday following a traffic stop.

The driver of the vehicle, Roger D. White, 45, was charged with possession of narcotics, false reporting and possession of dangerous drugs, according to police. He had two outstanding warrants for his arrest, police said.

A female passenger, Denise C. Lewis, 36, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Another woman in the car, Elise A. Garcia, 35, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.

According to a probable cause statement, officers stopped a vehicle near North John Wayne Parkway and West Hathaway Avenue about 1:30 a.m. for an equipment violation. Officers talked to White, who allegedly gave officers a false name, police said.

During a search, White allegedly tried to dispose of a tiny pouch containing a fentanyl pill, according to the probable cause statement. While searching Lewis, officers found drug paraphernalia and fentanyl pills in her wallet, police wrote in their report.

During a probable cause search of the vehicle, officers found a tinfoil tray with black fentanyl tracks next to a seat, a small baggie of methamphetamine underneath a seat and multiple hypodermic syringes inside the vehicle, police said.

White was being held in Pinal County Jail as of Saturday morning, according to online records. An arraignment hearing is set for Wednesday in Western Pinal Justice Court.
