347 Grill joins Girl Scout Cookie Dessert Challenge

It’s that time of year again … nope, not Valentine’s Day; it’s something much sweeter…Girl Scout cookie season.

From now through March 5, more than 17,000 girls in central and northern Arizona will be walking around neighborhoods with cookies and will have booths in front of local stores. This cookie season will be an extra special one for them, as 2017 marks the 100th year of the first known sale of cookies by Girl Scouts.

But that’s not the only sweet news. This year, the award-winning Girl Scout Cookie Dessert Challenge returns for the entire month of February. More than a dozen chefs across the Valley and in Flagstaff have reimagined a classic Girl Scout cookie and created a dessert that will be featured on their menu Feb. 1-28, with a portion of sales benefitting local girl scouting.

And for the first time, Maricopa will be represented by 347 Grill at the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle! Dessert designer Frank Abeyta has created a rich, creamy Samoa brownie parfait with the Girl Scout Samoa cookie.
