At least four Maricopa men were swept up in a state investigation of child sex trafficking.
Operation Home Alone 2 conducted by Arizona Department of Public Safety was in effect Aug. 26 through Sept. 3 in Pinal County. It involved Maricopa Police Department, Casa Grande Police Department, Homeland Security and Pinal County Attorney’s Office.
Daniel May, 40, and Matthew Salley, 38, both of Maricopa, were arrested separately Aug. 26 on charges of luring a minor for sexual exploitation.
The next day, Jordan Holloway, 26, of Maricopa, was arrested on the same charges.
As previously reported, detectives arrested Christopher Butts, 44, of Phoenix, Sept. 2 on charges of aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation and furnishing harmful items to a minor. Butts, a former Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office detective, was out on bond for his arrest in February 2020 for the same charges.
On Sept. 3, they arrested Ryan Kellerman, 36, of Maricopa, on charges of aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation and furnishing harmful items to a minor. Kellerman is also a suspect in a child pornography case with the Maricopa Police Department.
Four suspects were booked into the Pinal County Jail, and one suspect was booked into the Maricopa County Jail.
This is an ongoing investigation and additional arrests are pending.
