7 businesses receive permits this week

The city of Maricopa requires companies located both inside and outside city limits to obtain a permit prior to doing business in Maricopa.

This past week seven new or renewal business permits were issued by the city.

Of the seven, two were companies outside the city of Maricopa. Those businesses were West Virginia- based Kanawha Scales and Service, which sells industrial weighting equipment, and Black Canyon City- based Montana BarBQ, a barbeque concessions company.

Maricopa-based businesses receiving their permits were Games Spot, which sells games and accessories, Acacia Fine Homes, a real estate company, Harvest to Home Arizona, an organic vegetable and herb delivery service, Quality Janitorial Solutions and Minerva L. Castro, a seller of mattresses.
