The city of Maricopa issued seven permits to conduct business here last week.
Permits are necessary for all businesses headquartered locally or outside of Maricopa to do business within city limits, and are good for one year.
Of the seven permits issued, six were for local businesses and one was for a Valley-based company.
Local businesses receiving permits were Jake Johnson LLC, Pit Stop Windshield Repair LLC, HCS/Hunter Cleaning Services, JoAnn Escobedo, AZ West Property Preservations and ReDifined Design LLC.
The Valley based company issued a permit was J and S Fair Protection LLC.
