For the first time in 2016, temperatures are expected to climb into the 70s.

According to the National Weather Service, there will be very mild weather on Friday and Saturday before returning to the mid 60s on Sunday. The wind is expected to gust near 10 mph for much of the weekend, and overnight lows should stay in the 40s.

Friday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 71 degrees. The wind is expected to hover near 10 mph, but gusts should calm to 5 mph overnight. The overnight low is expected to drop to 41 degrees.

Saturday is projected to be the warmest day of the year so far. Mostly sunny skies should produce a high near 73 degrees. The wind is expected to remain calm near 5 mph for most of the day, and the overnight low is expected to drop to 45 degrees.

Despite sunny skies, Sunday should see a dip in temperatures. The projected high is 65 degrees, and the overnight low should drop to 39 degrees. Winds are expected to gust near 10 mph on average, but gusts could reach up to 15 mph throughout the day.

Weather conditions are expected to remain sunny throughout next week, but temperatures should remain in the mid 60s. More information will be available as the weekend comes to a close.
