A+ Charter Schools opened as a new charter school for the 2020-2021 school year. And already they are experiencing growth as they expand their grade levels for the 2022-2023 school year to grades 7-12.
In preparation for the growth in their student enrollment, the school will host an Interview Fair on Saturday, February 19. The event will be by appointment only. The school is interviewing for middle school and high school teachers in all subject areas, special education, as well as paraprofessionals and substitute teachers. Interested candidates can submit applications to [email protected] to schedule an interview.
The school’s instructional model is focused on project-based learning. All students are issued a Chromebook each year as a tool for learning and to promote 21st century skills, as aligned with the school’s Portrait of a Graduate. The school has had great success with their Early College Program in partnership with Central Arizona College for high school students.
Rachele Reese, Principal, said, “This year we focused on the motto #strongertogether as we entered our second school year. As we continue to grow our school community, we welcome those who are passionate about education, student success, and project-based learning to apply to join our Archer team because we truly are #strongertogether.”
Rachele Reese went on to say, “Welcoming the community and families into our school to see our facility and the work of our students is always exciting. Space is limited and classes are filling up quickly! We would love to meet with interested families and students to answer any questions they may have and provide a tour of the campus.”
