Isolated showers are possible this weekend in Maricopa.

Today’s forcast from the National Weather Service includes a 20-percent chance of rain. For the most part, however, the expectations are for mostly sunny skies and  high of just 98 degrees. Tonight, that chance of thunderstorms continues under partly cloudy skies. The low will be around 76.

Saturday, look for mostly sunny skies and a high near 100. There will be a 20-percent chance of rain before 11 p.m. The overnight low will be around 74 under partly cloudy skies.

Sunday is expected to be a sunny day with a high near 103. No clouds are forecast overnight, either, and the low will be around 75.

Monday looks much the same and the rest of week may hold a slight chance for showers.
