Maricopans of all cultures gathered on Saturday at Copper Sky amid music, dancing and smiles — making the second annual Copa Cultural Night Market exactly what it was intended to be: a melting pot of fun.

Maricopa Bagpiper Dave Mundy got the entertainment portion of the festival started, followed by Cuacualti Folklore Dance Group, Aloha and Polynesian Dance, Maricopa Filipino Cultural Dance Group, Samba-AZ, Kriti Dance from Chandler, Academy of Asian Art Foundation, and 9 Dragons Lion Dance.

After sunset, festivities were lighted by flames from Paradise Island Hula & Fire’s stunning performance.

Vendors, food trucks and a beer garden allowed visitors to shop and grab a bite to eat.
